You building your motor? Already built?

I went with Blue Thunder heads due to the Chevy Exht flange. I run Lightning Headers.

Paul -- you'll find more options w/ the bbc headers or manifolds. Lightning or CMI sells an adapter plate to use on the stock bbf port if you are not using one of the aftermarket heads with the bbc style port.

As far as which one is best ... well you know what they say about opinions. I have some coated mild steel Lightings that appear to be well made. They are still looking good (appearance and structurally) at 10 yrs old. FWIW

    cheers

    Default Headers

Motor is already built. BBF punched and stroked to 512. Dove C headed porter.

Not sure I understand using a chevy flange fornthe headers. Doesn't lightening make polished jacketed headers? Or anyone else? HTP?

Lightning I dont think make headers with Ford flanges. You need to run an adapter. My heads are BBF, but the bolt pattern on the exht is Chevy, so I can run Chevy headers.
