Default Loan help on an odd jet help.

Well for some reason I have to have an Outlaw Sport that I have located. I am having a heck of a time finding a local bank here in Colorado Springs that will loan on a boat that is not in NADA or Kelly. Any ideas or brokers on here that can help?? Thanks

I just went through the same thing, and you won't find one. You would have to get an unsecure signature loan, or find one that is listed in NADA.

try a credit union. Sometimes they lend a lot easier. I've had many people have me appraise their boats so that they cold get a loan.

As with lots of vehicles (classic cars , hot rods etc) , the actual book value might be much greater than what the Blue book or NADA suggests , a couple years back I went to BB and NADA and was surprised to find the value on My cruiser at a fraction of what I thought is was worth let alone what I had into it , My Bank and credit union suggested getting a marine survey appraisal they could review (which I got for $250) and then they (the Lenders) "upped" the potential loan amount by more than triple I'll try to find the Surveyors contact info if your interested tom

Tom, I would really be interested in this info as well. I'm thinking of selling my 16' Mantra this year. One of the reasons I bought it, is it has an NADA value, and I could get a loan on it. Several boats I had to pass up that I really wanted, had no NADA value. My credit union is very leanient on stuff for me, but says it has to have some sort of value for them to look at.

I am in a credit Union. If I can't get this boat than I can't drag it down to Table Rock and call you on a Sat night when I break something.
