    Default Wheeler-inn anybody?

Does anyone stay or boat close to Wheeler-inn, right below Parker on the Cali side?

I checked it out yesterday and I think I'm going to put the trailer there for the summer

I know the water does not come up till after noon but if I need to I can go down to Aha or up to Parker to get a early n20 pass in

Just wondering is anyone boats here, how far is it by boat to Big river rv park?
    Where are the hangouts?

    Thanks guys!!

    Trevor.

Ive got a place just up from there on the AZ side in Bluewater Lagoon. The water doesnt come up untill later in the day, but its a good part of the river to be on. Alot of good people down there.

From there you are probably ablout 7- 10 minutes from big river. If your just cruising

Im on the Cali Side in Big River. IMO the best peeps and coves to hang out at. From Wheeler to BR park is about an hour if you just want to float on down. The water comes up around 10am. What to do til then? I like to get a good bite to eat at the crossroads cafe, gas up the boat, and then it's time to get on the water. Hope this helps. Another good guy to get a hold of is Squirtcha?. He can help you out.

half of this jetboat section is on that part of the river. i've never been in wheeler so i cant comment on that. As far as hangouts go, wheeler is close to them all except shell beach down by lost lake.

    Thanks everyone.
I pulled the trigger and will be in spot G from April 15 through September 15.

Spot is right on the river
If there is any locals that would like to show me the river high and low spots it will be appreciated.

Big River area is a great place to boat. Good people, some nice beaches and coves. We run a Vdrive and a Jet Daycruiser. Like everyone said the water comes up around 10am. We are at Big River Rv from May 1 till the end of Sept. Do hook up with someone your first time out. There is some low spots on that section of the river.

We're down at the Rv park.....it's a fun section of river, lots of good people and friends. Your first time there, get up early and take a walk up to the bridge in the morning.....look up river and down river, you'll see some dirt. Those are the areas to stay away from when the water comes up. Generally in the afternoon, you're fine just about anywhere with a jet....but definitely take it slow and watch the bottom until you hook up with someone to show the the preferred zig zag "safe" path

Follow this 1 rule and all will be fine, have a place across the river at BWL, been there 6 years and still follow that rule. and as said above, good part of the river to be on, good people, and water usually comes up between 10-12....

The nice thing about a small jet is I can go out at 6 am if I wanted to. Thursdays the water doesn't come up FYI

That place sucks. Nothing but jerks in that park. You will not have any fun there.

Used to go to that park a lot about 12-15 years ago. Had a few friends down there. Fun times. Would do murphys cove (not sure what everyone else calls it) white trash cove, boat down to BR, Lost lakes, AHA. Only downfall i remember was water depth in mornings and rocks instead of sand like blythe.
