    I have a junk aluminum block that I used for mockup. if anyone wants it, its yours. Located in the san diego area.

    what oilpan did you end up with? 5qt? i was thinkin your deal looks awful shallow in the boat compared to my driveline angle, but ive gta 8qt pan and lil tunnel hull.

    Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

    i cut down the truck pan, essentially made a f body pan in the process. cut the pick up tube too.

    i thought bout that but lack the skill to do it lol the commodore oil pan i got is 1 inch deeper than a fbody pan, which put alil angle on my driveshaft but not too bad, jus nuff to make the needle bearings roll good in the caps.
