I haven't seen anything different than the teleflex cables, though they can be bent pretty well, but steering input will suffer.

I've been thinking of going with a v-drive setup using cable, kind of a poor mans calgo, but would probably end up being more expensive and take longer because all the brackets and pulleys would have to be bullet

How "flexible" do you need it to be ? are you trying for tight radius's in the rigging or ? just curious ? Tom

GG the modern cables with squeeze down to 8" radius quite readily however as I'm sure you know this shortens effective cable life tom

U-FLEX has a published 7.9" minimum radius. Teleflex is what I'm using, with only one bend, at the helm, seems to be holding up ok. Morse cable is no longer.....snapped up by Teleflex. My buddy has a Detmar set-up in his Wriedt, that has a bunch of bends..... it's smooth as silk.
