    Default watts by-pass valve

    anyone out there know how many turns in or out yours is set at and the pressure reading, the valve is 1/2 inch.

    I just installed one but i haven't installed psi gauge yet

    i keep mine were as soon as the motor is started, it puking out a small stream outta the back, then as soon as i throttle up, its bypassing pressure pretty good by then. setting the thing with air pressure or a water hose is pointless, trust me

    rex marine told me to start with 3 turns out
    and the valve was reworked to operate at 5lbs open/ 50lbs closed

    A pressure gauge is the only correct way to set the valves for correct block pressure in your application.

    Go to tractor supply and pick yourself up a $30 pressure gauge!

    I set mine by hooking it up to the garden hose and having a pressure gauge on it. It worked very well.
