    Cool New guy first boat...

    Hows it goin everyone been lurkin around the boards for a few weeks, finally decided to join in. I just picked up my first boat, its a 1977 Sundance. i just noticed someone on here with a 1978. plan on havin it gelcoated, all new interior, and a good motor run through by summer.(BBC A.S.A.P.) Heres a few pics of the boat.





    Pulled interior and motor out to begin the process..

    Welcome aboard. Whats that thingy in the deck in front of the driver? If its a gas fill, put side tanks in. Will run and handle better.

    If you plan on new gel...run full length stringers as well. Hopefully you'll keep the ford. Nice boat and good luck.

    Yes those are more swivel seats...look cool but not too sure about a swivel seat with no lock while actually out on the water gettin it. Picked up some stuff that just came in.
    Hardin Marine brushed aluminum gauges from CPPerformance.com
    Like Christmas in March...
    MSD pro billet distributor, Msd blaster 2 coil, 100 amp chrome alternator, chrome fuel pump, Black braided lines for cooling/fuel, Brass freeze plug set, and black anodized fuel filter
    (Not pictured MSD 6AL box, spark plugs and wires)
    Still shopping for gelcoat paint shops in the NorCal bay area area. Any suggestions or shops, appreciated, im havin a bit of a time finding someone to do it. Thanks.

    Keep the Ford x2, and add a place diverter too for a much better experience. Enjoy the ride, man.

    Nice boat! I was alway,s a chevy guy too,till i got my boat with a 460.great motor!
    Not to highjack your thread but how did your build turn out jet460? Maybe let us know on another thread.

    Just waiting for good weather.
