I have been looking on here as a gest for a long time but not untill now have a joined.
finaly bought my own boat. has a sbc and brekley jet and jet-o-vator. already have a bbc almost ready to go, currently the boat is gutted and being re-cleared and the trailer painted (with the addition of some polished stainless for a nice look) interior was new and good to go but i plan on adding railing like my dads boat and a swim board out back.

my blazer and my dads boat

and my new boat, already torn down awaiting new motor and look nice goodies

so their 12 ft long and about a foot by a foot with the bend on each side. I need to find a way to package them so they wont get bent. Any ideas?

I wish you were closer. I have a decent set off of a 20' tahiti super cruiser you could have.

If you're near IL anytime soon let me know...

What kind of boat do you have?

they dont come apart in the center at all. i was thinking about getting a 12' piece of ABS pipe, then tape the rails to the pipe. Then over all of that wrap the who thing in bubble paper. By putting the ABS pipe in there it should keep them from bending during shipping. It looks like the shipping cost will be under 50 bucks.
    And the new project begins!

I like the look without the bow rail. Also, have heard of people breaking their foot jumping off the boat with a bow rail. It serves no purpose.

btw the carbs are 48mm delorto's runs kick ass. that set up have been on his boat since 1987!!! i wanted to run the same set up on mine but it would cost over 1600, so its getting a big single carb set-up , the bbc should be a nice improvment over the 283 in there now!!! hahahaha
