just thought i would share, maybe get some ideas on a design for painting. i bought this float off this site, no motor, no pump. got a good deal, solid boat, just in need of a lil tlc. originally i was gonna just put a motor in and a pump, but i decided to do it right. glass work started today and sanding etc. for primer. will be sealed and hopefully my buddy and i will be painting it within the next week any ideas on some paint schemes

    Nice looking project....
Personally...I'd paint it pearl or abolone white where the blue is, and where the white is now, paint a heavy silver metalflake, then spray some candy blue through lace over the silver...remove lace, and then fog more candy along the edges....

IMO there's plenty of 1980's- 90's paintjobs out there, with mulitcolored stripes , Z's and random curves graphics these days...bring back heavy flake, freak drops, endless lines and lace....just like the '70s man...ya dig???
