    Default Your Dads Tahiti

Theres Got to be a bunch of us out there who's earliest Jet boat expiriences were with one of these little Jet boats , either a Friend Neighbor or relative, just out of HS by best friend bought a Bowling ball blue 16' Tahiti 455 Olds Jet , had some great times "mobbin" in that boat !
I bought this 67' a few weeks back from the second owner its been stored in his garage with his roadster collection for 10+ years The boats about 80% original , He kept the 327 for a 32" Ford deal he's building , I just happend to have one to replace it Thought you folks might get a kick out of it ..Tom

    the Roadster & engine I didn't get

as as kid we use to spend the summers at Bass Lake in the late 60's and 70's, i think i was about 12 years old when i took my first jet boat ride in a green metalflake boat just like that, must have been a tahiti. i remember all kinds of cool boats there, fun times at that lake, to bad it went so commercial. man the jell still looks awsome on your new toy. i always liked the tack mounted on the deck like that, old school cool....steve

Too Cool. Looks to be in great original condition. SBC and all. Needs a green metal flake wheel.

My uncle's Tahiti was blue with the 455 Olds. My dad had a Sundance outboard which looks like a Tahiti splash. Good memories for sure.

Make that 5 if my 69 counts...Much larger and titled as a "Schuster", but it is an identical twin to a friends "Tahiti", except mine is BBC powered now....I also have a 74 smaller style Tahiti with Olds power...... My 69 is the best riding jet I have ever seen/driven/rode in..... Maybe because it is 7'10" across the beam....

PS the 69 was originally metalflake purple.....

Sweetness. I don't blame you one bit for leaving it as is. That thing is pimp. I am a huge fan of original stuff.
