Default so i got a GREAT deal on an impeller today......

there was a boat i found on craigslist that is being sold for parts if no one buys the boat. I guess a guy went there this morning and bought the motor out of the boat.(455 olds) So i asked him what he wanted for the impeller, he shot back with $250 bc the impeller is new. this boat has been sitting in a barn since 1994! apparently the pump svc was done one trip before it was put away. So i talked him to 200 for the impeller and i wanted the scoop grate (mine is trashed)
we show up to his farm and found this.......................... The guy decidied that it was going to be too hard to take it all apart. So, he grabbed a saw and chopped out the pump and the intake! So i ended up with a new impeller, thrust bearing, split bowl(i currently have a one piece) the bucket, nozzle, the drive shaft spline and the shift cable for $200. I must say that today was a good day!

i dont know, all i could tell is that it was 18 ft. it had full stringers and no delamination. I was sick when i saw that! if i knew he was just going to cut it out i would have taken the whole boat off of his hands!
