Good Eye Tim. Pan will be here Monday. Motor in for mock up. All is looking good.

Its not a sand drag motor. Came out of a dragster.

The nitro will be at __%. :D

trg, there's no pool yet on how quick / fast it will be . Going to test the water for the first race and then get with it. I'am not a big fan of losing, I will burn them to the ground to win a round (as cyclone knows ) so there will be a back up motor on call but I'am sure we won't need it......:)hand

The additional safety requirements for Fuel.

1. All boat drivers running anything other than gasoline or nitrous oxide must wear a full flame retardant driving suit, head sock, gloves, and shoes.

2. All blown, injected, or fuel boats must have a fuel shut off valve controllable from along side or in front of driver. The valve shall be located between the main fuel pump and the injectors.

To the critics that wanna talk about this one going kabooom, weve ran injected fuel on 100% with 69-73* lead in our motors for atleast 8 years and have never blown one up. So this one being on 85% with no where near the load on the motor compared to a set of 15" slicks, it should be (hopefully) somewhat conservative, but you never know..... lol. We had one in a sand car with 90% and a 250hp shot of nitrous and the only time it got hurt was do to a starting line goof...

If bobby can get enough load on the motor early in the run, it could be very interesting.

injector

I think this "real" UBFJ deal is cool. I do have a question though. Being that the driver is in front of the engine (unlike the dragster it came out of), isn't it going to disturb the air going into the injector? Would an upright injector and an air scoop that is up in the clean air help keep the tune-up similar?
