    Default RIP Dennis Johnson

Very sad news to report from Lake Havasu, where the PB team is testing boats this week. Our photographer and dear friend, Dennis Johnson, passed away during a pre-test meeting after dinner last night. Although this was technically his first test event with us, Dennis's amazing work has been featured in our magazine for the last couple of years. He shot, among other things, NJBA races, the V-Drive Regatta and the Tom Papp Memorial event. Dennis, who was introduced to us by his good friend, PB test team driver and regular columnist Jim Wilkes, was a hard worker and a remarkable talent. He and I spent Sunday together taking photos of boats at the Crazy Horse campgrounds; only a few hours later, he was gone.

Please join me in paying tribute to a very cool guy. His contributions to our magazine and to PB.com were deeply appreciated and always extremely professional. To say he will be missed would be an understatement.

You can see Dennis's photography here:

I am shocked. I always enjoyed chatting with Dennis when we test at Irvine and go to the v-drive regattas. Dennis has many amazing pictures he has left behind for us to look back and enjoy. RIP Dennis
