    Default 455 Olds Crosswinds Intake!

    Hi all fellow Olds boaters.
I got one of those Crosswinds intakes polished for smokin price , and let me tell you looks real good for Chineseium! went from the Victor to this Dual Plane and I cant wait to try it! def has the bling factor and hopin for better low end performance. Just thougth Id pass the info that there is hope for a RPM Air gap style intake for the OLDS now and it looks real good. Nicely priced as well. Ill get back in a few weeks with my test at the lake.

It just looks a little weak. Wouldn't want to see ya trying to pull up a skier and have it snap off and crack them in the face.

    Nice looking powerplant though!

    Good luck.

I bought one of those ? 1" diameter fuel pressure gauges and I had to stare at it for a second or two to figure out what it said. Not good going down the water looking backwards trying to read a gauge.

Fortunately my boat would only do 49 mph then so it wasn't that bad of a problem.

yeh I hear ya Hotrod. I had fuel problems at high rpms and couldnt see the guage so i put the bigger one on there so i could see what the heck it said when it would shut down at 5k RPM around 65MPH .Would really piss me off!!!turned out the Red Holley fuel pump wasnt enough for her ..so I had to get the Blue holley pump with regulater set at 6.5 psi problem solved. but left guage
