Anyone do any testing with a Remco driveline coupler? Ive been staring at this thing for quite a while now and thinking of the cost effective way to dis-engage the pump for warm up.

where are you seeing it? from what i could tell, remco sold the coupler part of their business to a company called superflow industries, and they've either stopped production or have fallen way off??

i'd wonder about the strength of the thing in a jet...

Todd- what about a Lenco driveline? 750 hp sprint cars run them all day long...

Orange County Driveline services has them in stock, through talking to the man at the desk, the part is 400 installed on my 1350 driveline, but also my concern was how strong it would be, he said it is rated for 7500 RPM under extreme load, this is just from a driveline guy, not questioning him, but Im not going to add something like this to my deal!!! just curious to know what you guys think about it? also, with the ratchet/jet away, being such a complicated and rather spendy product, this thing could be redeveloped for an application in a jet!?!?!?! with the types of guys that are around here, this seems like it would be a money maker! Every jet could benefit from this being a race boat or even a family cruiser. Ill get the info pamphlets on this thing this week.

Thanks, I may have been thinking of something else. The Jetaway was developed for safety pruposes only. Later we added the neutral as an extra handy feature. We have drawings and engineering for a slip into neutral only devise, but it looked like it would cost around $400.00 to produce it and we feel that people would not be willing to spend that much money and dropped the project. If someone could come up with a $150.00 to $200.00 coupler that would stand up, they could sell a SXXt load of them. Guarantee Ya! Here's a great opportunity for someone.
