Default OK NJBA Jets... I'm Going To Say It

Time to back her down to 1,000'

    Popular or not.

Very impressive what has been accomplished.

But... Wouldn't you agree there would be much less effort trying to keep them below 145 by taking a few hun feet off the length of the track? Not to mention the chance of one of them blowing over. It's a reality.

    Flame on.

it won't solve any percieved problem. You shorten the course to 1,000 ft and everyone in UBFJ will just go to a bigger impeller, a bigger n20 shot and get after it earlier in the run. Then you have the same potential blow-over scenario happening.

Starting a thread like this when you haven't watched these boats run in person doesn't make a lot of sense, just the same way other associations' 7.70 ET limitation on jet boats doesn't make sense any more.

Jet boats have come a long way since the days when that ET rule was put in place and the guys going really fast in this particular class make it look pretty safe from what I've seen.

Why? Have there been a rash of NJBA guys blowing over that nobody's reported?

What's funny is, that a guy who cleans the shoes off a flat bottom driver before he gets in the capsule is trying to make a decision change for a club he doesn't associate with. Wtf

I know all those jets look solid no up & down or anything. How badass is it too see a Jet with 2 carbs / Nos. go just as or faster than the flats with the same, not to mention I`ve seen them from behind & from the side (at the rope that is) Those things leave so hard !!!Badass for sure.

Dude, you just dropped that guy with one shot to the sack! The fact that our jet boats are crushing the flats and all the hydros (except penberthy aka tha butcha)is a huge that a boy for these guys. Dclark, morgan, johnny D, weather, finny, woods, kjell, hicksl, bandy and others deserve huge props. You guys are hauling ass and doing it safe. Also melt and slackery Rouscher are crushing it to ...mid 8's w/ 500 or less inches no bottle..impressive

    keep it up guys,

    just sayin

Actually Tom, It pains me to say this, but our flats have nada right now for the jets. Mike D is the dominator and has Anthony covered at this time. Now I know this does not sit well with the groses and im sure they will come back in May with something for these guys. As far as the rest of the country, they got nothin' for the NJBA's category boats.

    guys just sayin

The 825 will have its original power back in it next month and will be plus some inches. Hopefully with that, we will be within striking distance of these guys. But last race we were in deep doo doo.
