    what is the diff. between a "c" and a "B" pump?

    If you are talking 12JC vs 12JB then:

    the B refers to an earlier design split bowl. The G version is a later generation split bowl pump with improved flow. consensus seems to be that most boaters won't notice the difference between a B and a G.

    The C refers to the one piece bowl and generally better flow than the split bowl versions due to longer vanes and smoother transition to the nozzle.

    Most people prefer the split bowl pumps because they allow you to add aftermarket parts for tuning such as droops or straight snoots, and wedges.

    If you are talking -B as in 12JC-B then the -B or -C refers to the original impeller size installed in the factory.

    thanks man....its a split bowl. 12JB-a so its a B bowl with an A impeller
