I am in the process of getting one set up myself. I went from a mini droop to one that dropped the center line about 2". Set the air entrapmentnt plates at 0* and the ride plate to 4*. Now I need to run it again and see where I am at.

Im far from a guru, that would be BP...

Try it and find out. Trial and error is what its all about. It will give it more lift, but you need to do a few more things to benifit from the change. HAve any pics of the boat?

SWTD with a ford. It must be the one that has been for sale on the boards for a while. If so it already has entrapment and would benifit from a ful droop.

That boat never had tunnel plates on it before. The other 1981 I have seen did not ever have the plates and ran over 100 but had entrapment. The pump on your boat actually came out of that swtd. it was in Petrofied. Anyone know what happened to that boat. Last I heard a guy named Rich bought it and was going to build it. In fact Rich owned the boat you have prior to buying petrofied and had tommy do the stringers, pod, and transom.
