Default Registration #'s on a CP question

Any one with a winger 18 or 19 put your registration #'s close to the bow of your boat?

I know its harder to see the #'s there and wondering if anyone has been givin heat for having them there?

    Where i circled in red.

    Thanks.

I bet that is going to vary from state to state. I'd start by checking your local state law and see what it says about numbers.

My buddy Zack put his there and got hasseled already. But he don't drink so getting pulled over is no big deal to him.

I would keep them where they are. Just don't want to be hassled.

    What?
I just registered my boat and getting ready to put on the cf numbers, I realize the year sticker goes next to the cf numbers. The numbers u see in the photo are the Michigan numbers where I bought it from.

I would have Bob Thompson redo the #'s where they are, make them a bit smaller and darker so they are not so noticeable, $75-85 for the CF's.

If nothing else... it's an excuse... and that's really all they need to do their best to ruin your day. I'm gonna venture to say... seeing how things have been evolving the last couple of years... and the need to write more tickets... you'll have an issue eventually... which sucks because I actually think they look better up there and would be "technically" legal. Hell... I got a ticket for the numbers not having enough space between them and the the sticker!
