if it's a 1310 setup with outside clips, the Spicer part number is 5-153X.

throw those numbers in a Google box and you'll find a few off road sites that list dimensions.

Take it to a driveline shop. I recommend OC driveline in Placentia. Bring the boat with you if you want, or atleast bring the old unit.

I've ordered my 1310 and 1350 u-joints from AZ drivelines before. They list the dimensions, so if you have vernier calipers or a micrometer, you can save a lot of time and aggravation.

You might try Banning Driveline in Banning, CA. There also on Ebay.

    X2.

I went through the same thing with all the local parts houses.
The kid at Pep Boys actually told me he didn't know what a U Joint was....
Local drive line shop eyeballed it and had the right ones in minutes.

I just went through this on sat. I litteraly had to google the part number off the cap to give the retard a make and model to find it on the shelf. Both drive lines I have use po51 joints. Im not old by anymeans but wtf happend to the old time parts houses where they new what a solenoid was or the speed shop u could go buy header gaskets. As a kid I can remember going to a place on wittier blvd w my dad and seeing blower motors and hotrod parts all over the place.

For $7 hr you no longer get qualified counter people unless you go to a wholesaler.
The 17 year old girl at Kragen had to get the manager when I asked her for a gallon of Bondo. Had no idea what I was talking about, even though it was 10 feet from her right there on the shelf.
Those kids are experts on which decals to get for your Honda, though.
