    Default Fuel filters/water seps

What is a safe micron to go with on a holley carb....35-85. Screen or sintered. I had my system set up this way = tank-85 micron screen filter-water fuel sep-mech fuel pump-35 micron sintered filter-carb. I am thinking this is overkill and might be a cause to fuel flow/ pressure. I have a enclosed hatch and just bought a electric rotary fuel pump to prime or replace the mech.

I removed the 35 sintered that was after the pump....after talking with a few other boaters, they all just had a water sep as a filter(10 micron). How is anyone from here doing it? I didnt remove my mech yet or install the electric.
