Got this D9 block to replace my D1VE.
Long story short-I have to use the crank from the D1 unless I want to change my motor mounts due to counter weight interference.
So, I whipped out the die grinder and took out just enough material in about 10 spots to clear the crank.
Made a paper feeler gauge and I have about .050"-.055" clearance at all the mod spots.
Other than a little de-burring at the bottom of 2 of the cylinder bores I should be good, right?
Looks like I have plenty of clearance and did not go into any water jackets or anything like that.
