Ok guys I have an issue with my boat that I need to figure out and I was hoping someone in here can help out. Sorry for posting a question about a non jet boat in here but it seemed like this forum has more problem solvers in it.
I have a 1999 23' Commander Open bow with almost 600 hours on it and it has been a great boat. A few years ago we started noticing the boat would sit lower in the water on the right side. At first we figured that it was just how the boat was loaded or that there might be more gas in the right tank than the left. Over the past few years my brother and I have eliminated the easy things that it might have been. (I think) Here is a run down of the things we have already tried. First we took everything out of the boat, coolers, anchors, rope, water skiis, sub boxes (for the stereo). Next we drained the gas tanks completely, Then we even removed the batteries and the battery boxes since they are both located on the right side of the boat. Nothing we did made any difference. I am stumped and now I am wondering if it may be something up the floor like wrought lumber (don't know if that could make the boat wieght more on one side) or maybe even the motor shifted over to the right side. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I am hoping to have a little direction when I start digging this time and as of this momment I have non.
