I have a 2000. It's a medium lay up and handles the river just fine. I had two bench seats in it. The back seat isn't roomy at all and the boat rides better with less passengers so I ditched the rear seat and pushed wheel and pedal back to make the boat more comfortable for myself.

Mike's (Cyclone's) Shadow is much lighter than mine and I know that boat gets a lot use on the river. He's the only other guy I know of the boards with one, so maybe hit him up.

From what I've been told or remember, the Ultra uses the same if not similar bottom as the Cheyenne. The top mold it Ultra's. Thats usually how I can tell them apart.

    I like mine. Here's a couple pictures..

excellent river boat. i thought the entire mold was the same as a cheyenne (im sure there are some bottom changes) but looks damn similar to my buddy's Cheyenne

They are from the same mold.. top and bottom.. ultra used the cheyenne mold thats been making the rounds lately to lay up there shadow.. This is my cheyenne just out of that mold last month. It'll have a bench and 2 buckets for the time being but eventually will just have 2 buckets. It's not super light but isn't heavy and should make a great lake boat.Click image for larger version.
