    Default factory motor option

i have a friend with a 21 renegade open bow jet boat and he has had the worst luck with motors. 3 motors is 5 years, all motors were lost for different reasons and now he is passing on hp for a turn key deal perferebly something with a warranty. and ideas merc marine power etc. anyone now prices or who to contact to get more info or maybe another manufacture option. money is definitly an issue so teague and phaff probably wouldnt play a role lol

thank you in advance for the help

Tell Steve to get a Marine Power 454. That's what I had in my Shockwave. You can buy long locks for $5,000. And he should be able to salvage what he needs off the old motor to complete this one.

I second that on Harold Bruce.
Had great luck with his motors.

No problem. I'd rather have a stock turn key deal and worry free in a boat like that on the water than have to stress out for another 10mph. He won't regret this decision.
