    Default Cavitation help!

OK last year I had Duane at HTP machine my intake and install a ride plate and shoe. Ever since this was done when I hit the throttle at a very slow speed under 13 mph the engine races and the boat will accellerate. I must be moving before I can snap the throttle and go. It never did this before the ride plate and shoe was installed, It would just jump up and go. Nothing else was done to the intake or jet. Same loader I had before. What gives????

    I have a 1979 Bahner with a delta pad.

It's known as blowing a hole in the water and it sucks but your'e pump is not! If you get my drift. How deep or thick a shoe did you install. It will take a straight edge and degree wheel to find why it is not loading. By the way, the delta pad is way obsolete and you should reshape the bottom to a rocker design for that style bottom. Not to mention you may need to change the loader to a deeper bite at the same time. M
