Wondering how the motor was coming along on your jet. What was your final ring choice?

Got it all back together again, waiting on a set of intake gaskets that should be here today. Have a couple of small things I want to take care of in the boat then back in she goes. Went with the hell-fires this time. Shouldnt be long.

By the way, hows your new engine-boat setup coming along Gary? The pics of the new boat look great. Like the colors and the rigging is awesome.

Tom P. is making the front motor plate to clear the 6 stage dry sump pump and all the dry sump lines and its a real pain to dry sump a jet boat, but , its the only way i will run one at high rpm. This motor is really for my prop boat but for now, its going in the jet. Should have everything all mocked up this weekend and then out for the powder coater. Should be ready in 3 weeks.

Cool, you should be taking plenty of pics and do a build thread as most of us would love to follow along. Are you going to race that thing or just use it for a lake hammer ?

i would love to race it but to race on a course is so far away and not very convenient. Will see. I might not even have the nerve to run it flat out.. I dont know yet.
