    Default 76 southwind 18

Picked this up today from a cool cat. He gave me the boat pretty much turn key less motor. It had a 460 ford in it that we pulld out and is for sale. The boat was donated to me as I long as i put it back on the water. I totally am stoked on this deal. I will be getting a high flow dynamics ford to repower the boat. It needs a tad bit of TLC and a crack repaired on the bottom, but other than that it will make a perfect river cruiser to keep out at the river. I got it from the original owner and have the original sales invoice. I thought that was really cool when he handed that to me. I would like to thank Adam.(HBinHEAT) for making the deal happen. Its came from one of his buddys. Cant wait to get started on this little project and go tear it up.

Yeah, I know. That's what the LOL was for.

On a side note, my SW is almost ready to put back in the water. Repower is just about complete, and dyno appt. at Westech is set for August 18th!

    Cool

Awe shucks the 460 engine will only be a "parts bin motor" so that you have a casual boat to put around in (in addition to the T/D). Although....I do seem to be digging out some forgotten stuff from the bottom of that parts bin....racing valves, titanium retainers, etc.

Nice boat, Futs, I know you'll clean 'er up. And hey that Southwind pedal is badass.

    Hey Tim,

I like your LS-1 idea for that thing. Should be a cool build.
