Default My first jet boat build! 56K go make some food!

Its a 1975 Di Marco. I dont know much about the boat. Bought it on Ebay for 1,900.00 came from Santa Rosa, CA. It came with "everything but a motor".
Well In the pic's It does not look that bad but wow! the floor was full of water, and there was holes all over. I am now fiberglassing the boat and about to paint the top 3/4 of the boat. Here is my progress.

Here is when I just got it.

The wiring was fried in the back. I think there was a fire in it. The guy put the rub rail in and used 1inch wood screws and they went through most of the wires...... So I will be rewiring the full boat, after paint.
When I go to the machine shop tomorrow I will take pic's of the engine.

My jet parts should be in on Wednesday.

Nice looking boat....it's got nice lines. I'm kind of partial to the 'mini-day cruiser' for the extra size and stability in rougher water. I've got a basic wiring schematic in one of my albums that might help you. It's a pretty good starting point, I'm in the middle of rewiring mine too.
