    Default Organ Donation

Just a short note. For those of you in the local Los Angeles viewing area there will be an investigative report on Channel 2 tonight at 11 pm.

They were here about 3 months ago to do a story about Kristopher(my brother), and his passing.

What happened in the aftermath of his death should shed some light on attitudes for the last couple years.

It's alot to have on someone's plate. For those who know RiverRacer, please watch. Those that don't, but have formed opinions, or, those that haven't the foggiest idea what's up should watch also.

It'll show you what happens when you're overwhelmed on the worst day of your life and asked to make decisions no one should EVER have to make.

    Curt

I can't imagine loosing one of my sons. The heartache that your family must have gone through, only to have it compounded by these people, is unbelievable. Very sorry for your loss and applaud your courage to discuss this with us.

    Thanks

A friend at work lost his 5 year old girl about a year ago. He had donated her organs and was glad to. Just to get a lil piece of mind that it might help another family from going through what he was going through. Damn drunk drivers.

Sorry to hear about this Dennis and the Carrico family. Amazing how greed overwhelms sympathy. 600,000.00 ?? wow, more than the Prez. Maybe kick back some of that to the families they misled.

    Makes one rethink donating.

Wow I`m very sorry for you & your family... I`ve always been a donor but like said above it makes me rethink it a little.... I hope that old saying is true about time heals all wounds...This has to be the worst thing for parents & siblings not to mention the rest of the family. Those people that profit from stuff like this, will get it back to them just in a different way! Karma`s a bitch

I have never been a donor, have caught some crap over it, but this sickens me to no end! thanks for posting the thread, hgope alot of eyes are opened up on this matter, $600,000+ over a $50K bonus is rediculous!
