    Default SWTD crash

So i have seen this boat at MPD and met them a few times. Just would like to know what happened to make it crash? Rough water or a parts failure?

Glad everyone is ok. Also, how did the boat do through this? Any real damage?

    Thanks, Tim

DAMN!!! Glad to see he got away with just some scrapes. Could have been a lot worse. Looks like the boat came away fairly unscathed. I'd be interested to hear how it happened as well.

He's lucky that his jacket went along for the ride that time. The lack of a jacket in the opening shots would've produced a different outcome.

I did the exact same thing except the boat stayed up. I hit a roller from no-where at about 90. I was shutting down and seen the roller so I hammered down on the throttle to try and get nose up some. When I came back down the boat was not going straight. I was turned about 15*. Did not hook but I was going fast enough in a new direction it put my ass up on the side of the boat and I thought I was going to pull the steering wheel out of it.

lol, then maybe your comments on this should stay to yourself. Did you watch the video? the engine was running the whole time. I heard it rev way up when the boat left the water. Looks to me like he caught some bad rollers and it went south from there.

I can attest to that situation as thats what happened to me Labor day. The only thing about my little mishap is, the rollers were 4 FOOT and the width of the river, not going to the shore line. Damn wakeboard boats. I was on a hot one, busted up the bulk head bent the steering wheel around the steering post and it put me in the passanger seat on top of the passenger. Boat did a 180* on top of the 3rd roller and spun the boat hard!!! We were jacketed up as well. It wasnt pretty and ended the weekend for me. Lucky for me the boat is ok for the most part and no one got hurt. I filed a police report on the wake boat. Havent heard shit about it.
It hit real hard. Blew the rubrail right out of the hull on bothsides and cracked the gell on the cap, but thats an easy fix along with the bulk head for the most part.

Tim the video is captioned, unseen roller took the hull, and tossed it airborne. Looks like the boat faired well, better than the driver anyway. good thing he came out clean, that is a rather tight arrangement, steering wheel, diverter bracket, and peddles way under dash.

I don't think A pop off or a ratchet would of helped in that accident.

thats my old boat ..i have the seats that were originally in it 2 buckets and a bench...i talked to him after the crash (hit a roller)and he is doing good..he sold the hull to a guy in parris ca and he kept the motor and pump........it was for sale on craigslist a couple months back....4k no motor or pump hull was not damaged as still looks awsome.it use to say "EJETALATION" on the deck .i originally sold it to bigproppas friend pipesclean rob back in the days.

I will say this if you don't want any comments on the video then you shouldn't have posted it ! Because if i wouldv'e posted a video like that I would expect that someone would post a comment ! So all that you done was add more gas to the fire !
