How far do I need to break down my pump to see the stamp identifying the cut of the impeller or can it be seen through the nozzle or clean out port?

As HP junkie indicated your impeller will likley be stamped on the backside with for example an A, AA, B letter designation ect, however that may only indicate what the impeller started as , if the impeller has be recut or modified and not restamped (common) the true way is to measure the impeller with precision tools , there is no simple access to view the back of the impeller without bowl removal Tom
