    Default Suspension seats

Is any one using suspension seats like the 4X4 guys use? I had back surgery this weekend. My Rebel is the roughest ridding boat I've ever been in. Not a good combination. Just looking for some options to make the boat where I can use it.

Take your measurements and check out Beard's web site. I talked to them and they have no problem working with you to get the sizing adjusted to what you need.
We are still trying to decide with way to go with our Anthony, but it don't matter right now as the $$ isn't there.
    Beards are my first choice.

Great info. I will definitely look into Beard. I am too emotionally invested in the boat to sell it. It wouldn't bring much anyway. Might as well throw some more money at it and make it comfortable for me.

I have had major reconstructive back surgery myself, and when my son and I took on this jet boat project it was with the understanding that for me to enjoy it some effort was going to have to be made in the seat dept. I priced out some nice seats over the phone and they were not that crazy, you will find guys who have paid much more for plywood seats to be upholstered.
I used Beards in several off-road cars i built back in the day and have no complaints.
Do yourself a favor and spend the little extra$ for lumbar support, it makes a big difference.

I used beards in my monster truck for years and enjoy the ones in the boat also. bought my boat ones new in plastic and boxed for $150 for both on the local classifieds.

I thought of using the Beard seats before. Never could get over how they looked so out of place in a boat. They look great in the off road toys though. Some of the circle boats have a pretty cool suspension seat that looks like it belongs in a boat, might be worth looking into it.

76Bonniville has one in his circle boat. After watching the gopro footage im not a huge fan. since there are no harness' holding you to the seat they tend to bounce you out of the seat so make sure you have something to hold on to or a dead pedal to push yourself in.

Beard is a great company to work with. they will do damn near anything you want.

Thanks Jeff. It's been a long few weeks. Been pretty much laid up for the last 4 weeks.
