Default How long before oil sits and becomes dirty/milky?

My boat hasn't been fired since probably July, oil was clean before that. Checked it this weekend and it's brown and nasty looking. Could condensation and just sitting out there with all the temp. changes do that? Dry headers so no chance of reversion

Gotta be runnin to turn milky. Condensation from sitting will settle to the bottom not mix with the oil. Not sure on the turning brown part.

Yea that's what was throwing me off. Never seen anything like it before...Gotta pull the motor to drain the oil b/c I'm not gonna clean all that oil out of the bottom of the boat.

Brown sounds like rust. I wouldnt fire it till i pulled the covers & drained the oil to have a look see.

I guarantee if it cordogs it's got rust in it

I think he's scared of the water or something, he never takes his boat out
