You just cashed your IRS refund check and bought an 18 foot Kona, 455 Olds.
What is the top speed and what will the tach read?

A friend of mine had a 18' Kona with a B&B Olds 455- it would do 65 while turning 4800- My Father's 19' family boat with HC 455 would turn 4800 too, tho....

This friend was the wildest skier I have ever seen- He liked to Ski behind my Dad's boat because at 40+ it would still have a 10" wave.....He would jump the wake clearing 6 feet(with legs straight!) and hit so hard, sometimes his hands would hit the water, then pull so hard his shoulder would touch, and the 2600 lbs boat would almost stop......
