Default Will a thru transom hole block off covers work here?

Got some OT headers and need to plug the thru transom holes. Whoever installed the swim steps mounted the brackets right up against the exhaust tips. I need to know if block off covers will work before I buy them.

Ok, thanks for the info. I ordered some covers yesterday from Jet Boat Performance. I was told that the covers should work. I was hoping to fill the holes and have the transom painted but that's gonna have to wait as it's not in this winters budget.

You could go low budget and weld a bolt to a stainless circle, then make a big stainless circle for the inside.
