    Default Hand hole cover

    So im finding out my hand hole cover doesnt come all the way out of the transom.. Theres about a half inch that doesnt clear the out side of the transom.. Anyone else ever run into this problem? Or any pics of this same issue..

    Happens all the time. Either build transom plates around it or box around it

    Or get a P.P.P. flat top and go with alittle more cut out at the top of the pump at the transom. Kinda depends on the transom adapter or plate you are going to use to seal the pump up. M

    Here's a couple.


    The box that goes around the handhole cover can be machined from a block or tig welded together from aluminum plate.
    Or if you don't care about having access you can just make a small plate that goes across the top of the handhole cover to seal it off, rendering it inoperable.

    Thanks, I watch the restoration you guys did on the T-Deck came out nice,bet the owner is thrilled.
    My Hondo was set-up to go circle racing originally, hence the plates and drop thru fin.
