So I picked up a 1979 witchcraft 19' phantom with trailer for 300 bucks I just couldn't pass it up! the boat needs a jet pump and motor I have done crazy research and decided to go wankle rotary. The original configuration was a 150hp johnson outboard that didn't come with the boat. I have a local fiberglass shop making the hull modifications necessary for jet pump conversion. I am still looking for more info on this setup i have seen write ups and youtube videos but there all lacking the basic information required. i'm not looking for a blown or turbo setup just a holly carbureted 12a. I Need to know how these guys connected the jet pump,.. gearing.. etc. Thoughts? Will be posting pics with progress!
LMAO i know.... i have been looking at the prices of shit and holy crap. Later I will post a pics of my tow rig its almost complete. 05 Tundra Alot cheaper to make bad-ass and Upgrade LOL
welcome ,I'm just on the other side of the border from you. I think you should plan to go turbo. once you've got it in the water for a while ,you'll want to. those things make CRAZY power turboed.
I have been entertaining that thought. I just wanted to stay under 12k for the restore.... the new gel and hull mods are going to use a nasty chunk of that money. Do you know of a place to get one? I have tried foreign engines out of Seattle but.... out like always.. I bought a 84 rx7 to rob the first 12A block from but a spare 13B wouldn't be a bad idea!
