Also wondering if the hydraulic diverter pump pressures, ( and pumps) were the same for recreational type use and for race only use or are there differences between them?

Have the power run as short as practical to the pump, power relays speeds up the motor and relay actions. I have a fairly long run for the hydraulic lines. Mines works very well, almost to well, it's too fast for racing with out up down stops.

i've been using the stock p/d bennett deal for a long time. no relays, just wired per instructions. has always worked fine for what i do. it will go from stop to stop in just under 0.7 seconds. there are better pumps, etc.. i've just never had the need for it to move quicker.

I used to work for a Parker distributor. Tried ordering the pump per the part# that someone online supplied to me. I was told that it was a proprietary part. Was really hoping to get a deal but no luck...

I still think your boat is the best looking placecraft ive ever seen, not counting mine of course.

Would you explain why boats from the west use floater bars instead of winches. I had a floater bar on my trailer and the boat just jumped around alot especially with all the pot holes we have here. What is the reasoning behind that type of system. Seems like the bottom would wear out with all the rocking back and forth all the time.....Seriously, if i could afford it, i would buy your boat i like it so much. Wouldnt mind having two of them. I guess who wouldnt? see ya, gary

winches are for whackers and bayliners :). the floater y bar holds the nose centered on the trailer. way better than a single floater. i strap the back of the boat down for road towing. the bow moves up and down a little bit, but if the bunks are long enough it's not really a problem. my deal's made it through oklahoma city several times - if it can do that, it can make it through anything... :).

peasley's trailers are really nice. another one to consider is tony leaman's tube design (1fastmopar on the boards).
