    Default Ace champion v-drive

I took my V-drive out for the first time and about 1-2 oz Gear oil came out of the top vent on a Ace Champion.
The oil level was just a tad above the center of site glass, would that cause the oil to push out of vent?
I checked the oil and level after the test run and There is no water in the oil, and the level is at the center of site Glass
    thanks

For the people that would like to know the answer: would the oil level a little over filled cause the oil to push out of vent
Bergeron's told me YES it would.

Paul, what oil did you use and do you have the dip stick for this box. I pushed oil out of mine as well as they don't take a lot. Mid way up that site glass is fine, do you have the site glass on the bottom or top?

Mine has a side glass , I had it filled just a tad above the middle. 24oz 75wt90
Now after it puked out about 1 to 2 oz it is in the middle of the site glass.
I've heard it takes 20oz of gear oil.
