We are trying to pump her confidence by not being on the radio with her and getting her to do a little more shoulder racing. So proud of that girl it makes my heart swell up.

She has been going to the races since she was in kindergarten. She raced jet skis from 14-16 and when she hit 16 she told her dad she wanted a boat instead of a car. She's on her second hull now and was high points runner up last year and in the points lead as of right now.
How can you live in dfw and not know this. I'm so proud of her I think I've told everyone in the metroplex.

you must be a very proud mom

reminds me of a time in 2006 when BP298 was pulling for me at IHBA World Finals2006
we were in final round for the series division1 championship for M/E against a hydro from Texas (one of the Dulins)and margin of victory was like .002

I'm not her mom, but I get that all the time. I'm just her crew chief.
Dulin is outta Texas too, down around granite shoals I believe.
She is really coming along with her reaction times this year. Last weekend every single time slip had .0 reaction times.

does look like little hydro chase copeland used to drive. i know they were there, but if memory serves he went out kind of early?? and if i recall correctly, walter's son won the thing. could this pic have been earlier in the weekend??? if you say this is the final, then that's walter's son...

Not positive it was the final, and might hav been Mr Copeland
The final round had to be the most memorable one for you that you didn't participate in
Walters son wins and hands you the ring, otherwise smuck in other lane earns it..LOL
Was that your first or second. IHBA championship?

it was either 2nd or 3rd. can't quite remember. the trophies all look alike . i do remember closing out the first one at the wf's though. r/u came down to rick vs michael doll. mike took it by just a few points - it was really close.

you must've forgot i walked down to wait at the hose station to congratulate you. ended up congratulating walter's son instead. always liked going to the wf's with the deal still up in the air. added some drama to it.

now that i think about it, it had to be the 2nd. the race between you and kenny was the following year, which was the 3rd.
