Hello, In your recent reply about an Algon Prop Release you mention a "Fresno flat". Out of curiousity, was that an actual "Fresno Boats" flat bottom? I think they were 2 guys who built about a boat a month in the 70's. Dale and Marty rings a bell. Maybe even Marty Sharp? I thought they mostly built jets and day cruisers, but I lost touch with them decades ago. I know there were an awful lot of Sangers built in Fresno, so I wasn't sure if that was some sort of slang? I've been out of the loop for a long while.
Aditionally, do you know of a prop release that will work on a Hemi Engineering V-Drive? I know the prop shaft goes through the bottom gear and out the front, sort of making things a little different. But I didn't know if you could make it a "more traditional" 2 piece shaft for it? I want to keep the Hemi V-Drive as it is original to the boat. It has made it 43 years without a realease...
