Hayes State Park is right off the lake. You can look at the weather for Brooklyn and Onstead to get an idea, those are nearby.

There's the Stagecoach Hotel (mixed reviews) right outside the park, Evans lake resort down the street and a Super 8 in Brooklyn. I would recommend getting dinner at Randy's Roadside BBQ joint just down the street from the park. They have been known to have special guests drop in for dinner, or was it become dinner? :shhh:

I feel bad for you and Lynn. A job is a job though and we all need them. Sucks
I will be there tomorrow afternoon. Haven't even splashed mine yet this year! Hope it runs!
Weathers going to be great!!!!!

This seasons first event was a grand slam. We had great weather and a lot of boats and boaters. I believe everyone had a good time including Len Melhiem who took a quick dip in the lake. Once again the food was excellent, catered in by Keith Bowels, from the " TOP OF THE HILLS " restraunt. We had boaters from several different states and Canada. It was good to see all of those that came and hope those that were'nt there will be at the future events. Thanks again to all that were there. It was spectacular. Chet
