    Default Flat Bottom Mechanic

    Hi all
This summer my dad gave me his '68 Stevens flat bottom. It's in pretty decent shape overall and runs, but it needs some TLC this winter to fully bring it back. I'm looking for a shop that knows old v-drives and can do a thorough inspection to see what should be addressed. The motor, seats, and other stuff are being pulled and redone, so I also want to make sure the v-drive unit is in good working order too. Any help? I'm near Kalamazoo, but the boat will be stored in Metro Detroit for the winter. I'll travel just about anywhere in Michigan if the shop is good. Thanks, and I hope to join some of you on the lakes next year.

That's like the 20th time he's gone by today?"
