    Default flywheel

You can actually buy a brand new one at Autozone for about 60 or 70 bucks. Cast iron manual flywheel for a 454 chev with an 11 in clutch external.

Chet, does it have to be drilled for a pressure plate?

Yea Brian, I think now that it wasn't the flywheel that we needed. We were having one hell of a time starting it because it kept kicking back and I guess we should have pulled the engine and gone through it. Hind sight is 20/20. Well guess what. We will be going through it now. Busted the crankshaft in 3 pieces, bent the cam shaft, broke lifters and put 2 holes in the block internally. I'll try to get some pics posted. We're probably done for the season but we already had an engine going together for her. We'll see. Being retired sucks when it comes to doing these kind of projects. Later. Chet.

Unless something changes it's yes on Oscoda, we'll bring Scott's Chevelle. Probably won't have the boat done this season. If so it will be toward the end. See you there. Chet
