    Angry Boat broke

Exhaust logs are leaking at the flanges due to warpage and a crack. I have a set of logs(thanks!), that I want to run if I can get my snails off (I need the 90 deg. off mine), but the oil filter bracket hits the logs. Perfect timing!

Happy fourth to you and yours!

You call that broke??? Stop over to my place and I'll show you broke! Crankshaft is in 3 pieces, cylinder wall gone, rod bent so bad you can't remove the third piece of the crank and the camshaft is bent so bad it can't be removed from the block. That's broke!!! We'll probably be down for the rest of the season but hopefully she'll be running in the spring. We're not cutting any corners. Brandon tell your "Bride" that "Wildfire" will be back and in rare form. Chet

do you mean that the logs I gave you are hitting? if so you can run a remote oil filter, or I have a olds diesel oil filter mount you could try to see if it will clear, they are a bit different. also I think you can buy a header flange for an olds from summit or jegs, you could use that as a spacer, that may help. how far off is it?

If you need i can cnc you a spacer. Maybe i could make a adapter to rotate the snail if that helps.

ya they will hit and also I need to be sure when they bolt to my snails the snails mount properly too. I did get to see fireworks from the water on the 4th. Repaired mine, so far so good. Put 16 gallons of fuel through it this weekend.

    Default Still broke. Well kinda.

I did try and duct tape the flange with the stuff you see at the snow show. The guy with the pop can, butane and a rod. It worked very well till it saw a period of wot. Now I have a beer can doing the job. So it's running and we will be on Holloway today. No time for working on it with this weather! Hope to see some of you guys out there! See you on the low pro side!
