I have an opinion but its mine......KEEGO HARBOR (AP) — Suburban Detroit authorities say a power boat collided with three children being pulled in a tube on a lake, killing one of them and seriously injuring two others.

WDIV-TV and WWJ-AM say the accident happened Sunday afternoon on Sylvan Lake in Keego Harbor.

Authorities say a man was pulling his three children when another boat hit their inner tube.

Authorities say the three were taken to hospitals. They say an 11-year-old boy died and his sisters ages 6 and 10 were seriously injured.

The Detroit News says Keego Harbor police and the sheriff’s department are investigating.

Some people pulling tubers are worst than Jetskiers. Clueless...

That's like the 20th time he's gone by today?"

Agree. I was at the lake Saturday and had to dodge several wakeboard boats who were zig-zagging across the lake as if they were the only boat out there.

Not saying that is the case in this instance...as I know nothing about this situation - just making a general comment about the lack of boating skills/etiquette that I see time and time again from wakeboard boats.
