    Default lots :)

I am sure that there will be LOTS of people there I dunno. May head up with the 'toon just to witness things. Or the neighbors keep inviting to take us on their deckboat.

I will be there (at the sandbar) all day on Saturday. I will be taking photos of hot passes.

I'm also looking for blood. Is anybody up for a drag race?

(The photo below was actually taken at the sandbar.)

I will be there as well. I'll be running the 32 Dominator though.

PLEASE keep those big boats at an idle on the sandbar strip! The offshores are awesome boats, but they're washing away the sandbar a little worse each year. There's miles and miles downriver to run those boats up on plane. If you insist on coming that far upriver, please don't wash us away with your wakes. Idle past and enjoy the scenery. We arrive early and stay late so we can enjoy this precious narrow strip of shallow river without fear of being swamped by cruiser wakes.

There's nothing worse than Saturday evening, floating in the river, waiting for traffic to die down so we can touch off a drag race, and waiting for multiple 12,000 lb. boats to drive past, only to turn around, and go back the other way, leaving huge rollers that wash everyone's boats right off the beach. It's a dead-end street-- There's nothing to see beyond here but a bridge.

Come one guys... try to be courteous. Seriously.

I don't take pictures of boats over 22' long unless they can hit 100 mph in 1000 feet.
