Default Secord Lake Hot Boat Meet Sep 21

Here's some info for you guys who are coming to the Secord meet. Places to stay the night are Lost Arrow Resort there number is (989)345-7774. This place is high end and has a restaurant right there. Cedar Inn in Gladwin number is (989)426-4534 Nice motel in down town Gladwin there is a restaurant there also. It's about a 20 min drive to the lake. If you want to camp there is a camp ground right across the street from Secord Lake Marina. There number is (989)426-4020 "Secord lake campground". There are 5 boat launches we can use. The DNR launch is at 3450 W River Dr in Gladwin. 2631 Lakeshore DR Gladwin this one is Secord Lake Marina. They are not charging you to use there ramp just would appreciate your business if you need anything. There is another public launch at 1397 Sioux St Gladwin not much parking here but only a quarter mile from my house and you can park at my house lots of room and we can get you down to your boat. The other launch is at 4475 wildwood rd in Alger. This one is at the end of the river. If you have any other questions just ask me. I will help you out the best I can. 22 Miles of water to boat on here BRING LOTS OF GAS!!!!

I'll be driving down from Gaylord rain or shine Brian. Need to take out my parents docks that weekend anyway. Boat ready to run the river. Let's have some fun. Hopefully others will join us. GREAT place to run the boats, pleanty of water and nice areas for the boats to gather.

Mike, nice seeing you at Hardy and Otsego. Bring the day cruiser if you want to cover a lot of water, or the hydro if it is running good. Give me a call you could put in at my parents place if you want.

I may try to make it to this. I'd like to shoot one more round of flyby photos before the season is over. Is there a central gathering point to meet up at before a lake run?

Pyro you can shoot pics down by the lake. It's a good place to open them up. I would suggest meeting at the DNR ramp off west river dr or at Secord lake marina. The marina is right on the water and the camp ground is right across the street. Ill ask them if we can park the boats there on Saturday.

    Last year it was beautiful.
