Sounds like you need to change to smaller idle air bleeds. Who did you have do the Carb?

Chris at Classic Motorsports did my Dominators for my blower motor and my E85 jets were only a couple sizes larger than the gas jets. Her's a little tech on air bleeds. Treat them the same as jets. Carb Class: Air Bleed Basics

here are my idle air bleeds. .055 high speed air bleeds are .024 any smaller and they would be plugged i could have a vac. leak or it is sucking air some where when it quits raining i will take some carb cleaner and spray around the manifold and carb base if it picks up rpm its my end if it dont its got to be the carb when i got it i had to turn the idle mix screws 5 1/2 turns just to make it try and idle he sent me some #54 idle restictor jets in the metering block that cured the idle issue theres no way in hell i should have to go to methanol jets to make this work i talked to rob mix & mark sullen they both think either air leak or something wrong with the carb rob mix says with HS bleeds at .024 there was all ready a problem get fuel before i even got it i could take the mains out and it still wouldnt be rich enough anyway i hope i can find something soon i got 850.00 big ones in it and a bunch of time screwing with it. it may not be a pile of money to you guys but it is to me. pretty damn expensive paper weight lol I thank you all for your thoughts Alan

Kinda hard to tune a carb over the internet. One spec of crud in there somewhere could really mess things up.
